The reason for the painting of woman in Ben’s house

In Doctor Who: The Key to Time: The Stones of Blood the Doctor was trying to find some connection with Vivian Fay and the Cailleach. He and Professor Rumford find a priest hole and uncover 3 paintings. The paintings are dated and all are of Vivian Fay spanning 150 years. Professor Rumford thinks that they are her relatives when the Doctor tells her that all of the paintings are of the same woman and says what’s 150 years when you have been around for more than 4 thousand.

This was key in this episode so they had to incorporate it into Lost somehow.

So in Lost they simply created a painting that looked similar to Vivian Fay. Both are sitting in a chair facing the same direction, both have on white dresses.  Both have their left arms are in the same position, you just can't see the entire painting of Vivian Fay's right hand or whether or not she is holding anything. Both have similar lines on face by mouth and similar noses. The hair may be a different color but with the whole black and white thing going on it’s to be expected much like the Taran Beast and the Polar Bear. I haven’t figured out the hamster like creature that the woman in Lost is holding but give me enough time and I will.
