Why was there a Horse in the Jungle?

Have you ever wondered why there was a horse in the middle of the jungle?

I mean I know they wrote it into the script as having set Kate free when she was apprehended by the Marshal but why a horse?

Again the answer is linked right back to the Doctor Who series: The Face of Evil and the Key to Time 1 & 2!  This particular question can be answered by looking at The Key to Time: The Androids of Tara.  Romana having lived her entire life on Gallifrey the home planet of the timelords had never seen a horse.  When she was taken captive by Count Grendal under the guise of helping her he took her back to the castle on his horse.

When she was able to make her escape from Grendal she was able to do so by stealing his horse.

This was shortly after the part in the story where Prince Reynart was found and injured needing medical care.  Romana was the one trying to nurse him back to health.  Since Kate was playing the part of Romana in this part of the story, as she was trying to nurse Sawyer back to health, it was only fitting to have Kate be set free also by the same means “A HORSE”.

Since they took so much from Doctor Who they should have made the Marshall’s car a dodge charger.  I only say this because that is how Count Grendal referred to his horse and how Romana referred to it when she escaped by saying “go charger, start”.  The writers maybe should have hired me as a consultant.

After reading this do you believe that Lost was a remake?  Please leave me your feedback.
