Why Locke made a DOG WHISTLE to find Vincent

On Doctor Who: The Key to Time: The Ribos Operation it was the first time that the Doctor made a “WHISTLE” so that he could call his computer dog K-9 when he needed his assistance.

This was a major part of the story in Doctor Who so they had to incorporate it into Lost also. It started with a scene with Locke making something and Charlie coming upon him asking what he was making. Locke responds with a “WHISTLE”

We then see Locke on the beach using the “WHISTLE”

Vincent then responds to the “WHISTLE”

Finally we see Walt and Vincent reunited

I KEEP TELLING YOU GUYS THAT LOST IS NOTHING MORE THAN A REMAKE PLAIN AND SIMPLE!!!
